Batteries
Slowing down, stopping partway or beeping is nearly always worn batteries. They last 3–4 years — we replace them on the spot so your lift keeps working, even in a power cut.
Handicare & Minivator specialists
Because Dolphin fitted Handicare and Minivator lifts almost exclusively, we carry the common parts and batteries for them and know their faults inside out. We repair, service and replace batteries on every model — straight and curved:
Servicing: a yearly stairlift service checks the drive unit, motor brake, safety edges, footrest sensors, charger and battery health — catching small issues before they leave you stranded. Batteries: stairlift batteries last around 3–4 years; when they go, the lift slows, beeps or stops partway — we carry replacements and fit them on the spot, so your Handicare or Minivator keeps running even during a power cut.
